On the Fifth Day of Cookie Christmas...

Sweet Sarah gave to me, Handel's "Messiah..."

I got this idea from Laura's Cookies.
Thanks, Laura for sharing yoru great ideas so graciously!
(I made this single cookie day FIVE because I think I ate four mistake cookies in the creation of this one final cookie...)  Actually, it was a special extra cookie for my friend Diane with her Christmas order.  Thank you for your encouragement, Diane!

Her response: "You did an awesome job for me Sarah! Especially loved the cookie with the musical staff and notes from the Halleluiah chorus on it." ~ Diane

But, since we are on Day 5... how about stockings for my "five" family (as my almost 4 year-old calls us).

And five light bulbs and a couple of funny reindeer.

Merry Cookie Christmas!

Henry and the Happy Hippos...

Henry and his preschool class, The Happy Hippos, at Awesome Kid Preschool, are enjoying this box of "pumpkin" cookies at their Fall Party today!

2 dozen medium pumpkins
(NUT FREE - Vanilla)
I love baking for school parties.  For the Happy Hippos, we needed to go NUT FREE, so I fine-tuned my vanilla frosting and substitued vanilla for almond extract in the cookies, too.  So if you are planning treats for a school party and need them to be baked NUT FREE, I would be happy to bake them this way for you (although I do still have nuts in my kitchen to be aware of for the SERIOUS allergy).

Also, I do make a point to include one special, extra, cookie with each order.  In this case, I have included enough so that each teacher can have a large "Big Momma" pumpkin to enjoy later!

Thank you for your order, Ingrid!  I hope that the pumpkins were a smashing hit and that everyone had an "Awesome" time at the party!

Congratulations... all around!

Congratulations to the Blue Valley West Girls' Golf Team for finishing another good season!  Thank you, Mary, for your order for their banquet celebration!  I hope your banquet tonight was a special time... remember, "In the end, it is not wether you win or lose, but how you celebrate!"

And congratulations to Keli Kincaid, who won my Cookie Contest on Facebook!  She had the closest guess (without going over... Sorry, Diane) to the correct number of dimples on a Sweet Shoppe golf ball cookie!

There are approximately 58 dimples on a large golf ball cookie, which means there were 1,566 on the cookies I made for the BVW Golf Team!  (A real golf ball ususally has between 300-450, often 336, just for those of you who were wondering. ;^)

Sweet Keli will be finding a sweet treat in her mailbox sometime soon!  Thanks for playing!

CONGRATULATIONS!

"THANKS so much for the golf ball cookies!  They turned out great and were a big hit with the girls and their families.  And they were super yummy too!  Thanks for adding that special touch to the golf banquet!  I will definitely spread the word for your awesome cookies whenever I get the chance!"

Happy Birthday, Tennis Girl!

I am super excited to help Tennis Girl celebrate her 9th birthday!  Happy Birthday, Juliet!

These tennis ball cookies are for her class party at school!  Her mom wanted to make it extra special, so I designed a fun tag to add to the party favor bags and tied them with coordinating curl-ribbon.

Thank you, Jennifer, for this fun opportunity!

These boots were made for eating...

Howdy!

This week it was time to "Cowgirl Up" and make some fun cowgirl boots and hats for door prizes for the Heritage Christian Academy Mom's Night Mixer - "Cowgirl Round Up."

Just enough cookies to share or gobble down yourself in the van on the way home! Enjoy!
LOVE these Sugar-Toed Sweeties!
I wish I had a pair just like them.

These fun hats remind me of "Jessie" from Toy Story

"Oh Sarah, that was THE BEST cookie I have ever eaten. If you ever want to make me a cookie again, I will gladly accept it. YUM. That frosting was delicious! Better than Connie's cookies."
